I am a multi faceted individual who is living with M.S. I keep up with world events with a focus on why people are lonely when there are so many people in the world. I am always trying to meet people for friendship and marvel how distant people have become. I enjoy helping people overcome their fears, problems and move forward in their lives. I am a life coach. I am in pain all of the time but manage to be happy despite my obstacles. The battle is getting more and more difficult to fight as I have this overwhelming feeling that I do not belong on this planet... because I am always trying to connect to people... and they seem to interpret this as threatening and/or insincere. I feel people have been hurt or burned in some way by others and are not willing to believe that there are still people out there who want nothing more than to to be their friend and help them overcome their problems.
I think the world is a sad place from where I am sitting now. I have accomplished many wonderful things in my life. I want to do more before I am unable or dead. Life is a gift that few people take advantage of. From where I sit, too many people seem self absorbed, selfish, greedy and very unhappy and shy/slow to change. Most people I meet seem to be intolerant of others... judging them and putting them into boxes. People should just open their hearts and minds to everyone they meet. Wait for a person to show signs of using you or being too needy or clingy before casting them away... or you might just be throwing away a once in a life time opportunity to meet someone who will contribute something wonderful to your life... something to help you enjoy your life more or help you connect to someone else you may fall in love with, etc. Life and all of it's attributes is a numbers game. You must keep on keeping on to get what you want or need from life. Once you stop... the numbers clock stops ticking. We all need to realize that the more people we met the more chances we have at learning, getting, giving, being happy, safe, an unlimited number of opportunities.
