the sound of a fiddle, a cool fall day, hearing someone speak spanish, the smell of a barbque, the taste of hot chocolate with whip cream, snuggling under a down blanket in the middle of winter, seeing and creating art, watching a baby yawn or belly laugh for the first time, soaring down the blackfoot river, stepping off of the plane in a new place, stepping off of the plane in my hometown are all things that make me smile.
