Hello. This is Al's Place! My name is Al. It is important to remenber that this MySpace page is not about me. It was set up as a memorial to Tina Irene Davis. My wife. It's important to remember the people that we love everyday and not take them for granted. The only two things that are guaranteed to us in this life are death and taxes. While we're here we are going to pay out the ass for it and then one day we're going to die. Life is short. Live everyday like it could be your last. I don't mean to sound like a sappy Hallmark card or a drunk Valentine gone awry, but you don't realize how much you love someone until you don't have them anymore. I lost the love of my life on October 3rd,'06 to complications of diabetes, kidney failure, and ulitmately Burkitts Lymphoma at only 46 years old. As hard as it's been I've learned that life goes on but I'd like to share some of my memories of my wife and best friend, Tina. I remember most the day we first held each other and the day we got married. Then the day that I gave her one of my kidneys. Tina was a fighter. She would not give up. She lived with a broken shoulder for almost 3 years. The transplant was a success. The cancer had the same symptoms as the anti-regection drugs side effects, we did'nt know anything was wrong until the cancer was in stage 4. She went thru a very aggressive chemo treatment, but the cancer came back. They did not test for this cancer, because at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN., Tina was the first case of Burkitts Lymphoma since 1993. They are testing now. ..
