My passion is print design, specifically magazine publishing. Short term I am looking for national freelance clients but a move to NYC is likely as I plan to continue my career in magazine publishing. I assisted in the launch of T3 Magazine, relaunched macHOME magazine with a complete redesign and most recently was recruited by Roger Black to take over as the art director of Key West Magazine. Along the way there have been freelance or contract assignments for Ziff Davis, Primedia and Future US. The experience I have gained with startup publications has given me a larger understanding of the business process as well as a broader skill set than a typical art director. This includes organizing/directing photo shoots, photo editor/retoucher, production manager, creative director, marketing manager and IT/tech among other things.
