I really do hate this section. I never have any idea what to say, but since I think it's lame to leave it blank, here I go. :-) I love Oregon. Mostly the area west of the Cascades, but the area to the east of them is growing on me as well. I'm originally from the Astoria area, and I miss it a ton. Mostly because my family is still there, but also because the landscape is so much richer/greener back home. That being said, eastern Oregon has grown on me quite a bit since I first got here. I've met a lot of great people (some of them have left, and they suck :-), and I have a job I enjoy with what I consider to be a pretty good company. I love backpacking around here too. It's a great area to do it in. Anyway, there's way more that can be said, but not nearly enough space to say it in.
