Richard Hughes (born January 11, 1973) is an Irish flat jockey who most commonly rides in Great Britain. Born in Dublin, he is the son of successful National Hunt trainer, Dessie Hughes. Since 2001, he has been retained by Prince Khalid Abdullah, and rides in noticeable light green silks with a pink stripe, and a pink cap. He is also stable jockey to Richard Hannon..
