Reverend Jen Miller (also known as Saint Reverend Jen and Reverend Jen, born Jennifer Miller on July 24, 1972 in Silver Spring, Maryland) is an American performer, actress, writer, prophet, painter, director, preacher, poet, and a self-described "Patron Saint of the Uncool and Voice of the Downtrodden and Tired" from Manhattan, New York City. She is the creator of her own religion, called Hal. She is also the host of the long-running Anti-Slam on Manhattan's Lower East Side, writer for Toxic Pop, owner of the Troll Museum, and star of The Adventures of Electra Elf and Fluffer, a low budget cable access television show produced by Nick Zedd (aired only in parts of New York and New Hampshire; however, episodes can be seen on the internet from the show's website) about a superhero and her sidekick dog (played by her chihuahua, Rev. Jen, Jr.) Reverend Jen coined the phrase "Art Star," which denotes an eclectic movement of performers, artists, poets, and other individuals centered around the Lower East Side. She is the founder of A.S.S. Magazine (Art Star Scene Magazine) which is devoted to promoting musicians, artists, poets, etc through art She is also the music video director for singer Moby's single New York, New York (which she also appears in as well).
