Born in the Canadian town of Golden, redhead Patricia Owens was eight when she moved to England with her parents. A teenager when she entered the picture business in the mid-1940s, she acted in a number of second-rank productions at the same time she was embarking on a stage career. Relocating to Hollywood in 1956, she acted under contract to 20th Century-Fox and later freelanced in movies and TV One of her three husbands was screenwriter-producer Sy Bartlett.
