What's up, my name is Michael. I am an E-5(second class petty officer in the Navy. Right now, I'm stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. I came back to the US in 2005 after spending 3 years in Japan. For all of those who havent been to Japan before, it's a whole new world, plenty of things to do. If I get the chance, I want to go back because I had a great time. I have one older sister that I havent talked to and havent seen in years somewhere down in Texas, and I got my mother and my dad back home in Hempstead, New York. I know me and my mother dont always see eye to eye and we argue, but I know deep down inside, she knows that I am doing my best, and I love her to death. I grew up in Westbury, New York on Long Island and graduated from Westbury High School back in 2001. I wasnt all that popular back then, and I did a lot of stupid things, but what's done is what's done. No changing the past. I wasnt really sure of what I wanted to do after I graduated HS, so I joined the Navy, which turned out to be a pretty idea. I put up with a little more BS than a regular job; but overall, it's not that bad compared to what some people make it seem. It doesnt mean that I'm gonna stay in for life, I just want to see how far I can go before I decide that I dont want to do it anymore. I just moved up in the world; I started out an E-1 and now I just made E-5, so I have things goin for me right now. I got to see some really tight places already and I just finished my first enlistment. Besides living in Japan for 3 years, I got to visit Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Guam, Iwo Jima, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates which owns the only 7 start hotel in the world, and I got pictures of it,lol. Also, I got to see Greece, and Turkey. I can say that I am having a pretty good time, and what's even better is that there are still so many places that I want to see, and I am going to get the chance to see them. I've spent so much time away from home, but I'll never forget where I cam
