I'm an Australian. Retired journalist, living in Belgium. Busy writing a book, and taking photographs. I like the seasonal faces of nature, and unusual sky/cloud formations. I also like street photography... people, just being people. I try to be honest with my photography. I don't like digital enhancement of my images, and when I do "fiddle", I say so in the caption. It's purely a personal preference -- some HDR exponents (in my opinion) distort colours beyond all recognition, and I think having ultra-sharp focus and stark detail in foreground, middleground and distance simultaenously is contrary to nature. I guess you could call me old-fashioned... I spend several hours each day, just keeping up with my contacts, and I can't always respond to comments on my photostream or add new contacts and do them the justice they deserve.
