John Guest is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GCG. He has extensive experience consulting with diverse businesses in the areas of: strategic planning and business development; process innovation utilizing Six Sigma methodology; and the provision of customer value added products and services as a means of creating competitive differentiation.
John Guest's corporate career spans over thirty years in Fortune 500 companies. He has held many senior level positions including, V.P. & Chief Information Officer, V.P. of Operations, V.P. of Marketing, and V.P. of Sales and Service Support. In these senior leadership positions, Mr. Guest has championed multiple performance initiatives resulting in positive business impacts in the areas of business development and revenue growth, operating cost and expense reduction, and increased customer retention and satisfaction. He attributes his success in consistently achieving targeted goals and objectives to effectively empowering people in the organization to strive for personal growth and professional excellence. During his career, he has also been an advisor, mentor, and consultant to telecommunications start-up companies, small to medium-sized government services contractors, and numerous minority businesses.
John Guest holds a Business Management degree from Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida and a MBA from NOVA Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He is a member of Sigma Beta Delta international honor society in business management and administration.
