PERSONAL GOALS I'm interested in building a career in Project Management. I feel that my combination of education and experience have led me to this field. I earned my BBA in the Management of Information Systems, and recently completed my MBA in Operations Management, where I also studied Project Management. I took a short break from work to wrap up my MBA, which I did in December, 2007, and to focus on taking the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam in February, 2008. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE - Self-motivated team player with over 6 years of demonstrated leadership abilities: led teams both locally and geographically dispersed among 7 locations nationwide, experience supervising team of more than 200, with direct reports of 5-7 team leaders. - Competency with human resource functions: managed performance of departmental supervisors and team through training, coaching, and corrective action, performed interviews, made recommendations for employment, and administered performance reviews to team. - Proven track record of completing projects in time and under budget: successfully led ecommerce web development project with customer database and online reservation capabilities, planned and led IT improvement projects including move to in-house servers, installation and integration of POS and credit card processing systems.
