I have developed software applications in a variety of programming languages and frameworks for various platforms over the past two decades, including COBOL, C++, Visual Basic and Java. Most recently I have devoted myself to supporting Coca-Cola's enterprise-wide content management platform, based on Oracle Universal Content Management (formerly Stellent Content Server). Over the years I have also developed a broad and deep knowledge of personal computer and server technology, having built and supported dozens of computer workstations and home networks over the last decade. I enjoy solving complex problems, and making sense of the seemingly senseless, both in a development capacity and in a supporting role. Over the years I have helped define complex software architectures for Coca-Cola, from a web-based interface that enables interactive reporting against the enterprise's marketing intelligence data, to enabling third-party access to MSAS databases using the Crystal Enterprise viewer, to defining a software abstraction layer that allowed us to build WebSphere portlets that seamlessly report data from a variety of relational and multidimensional data sources. In my earlier days I wrote everything from a standalone PC-based driver tracking and payroll system for Sysco Food Services, to an email gateway to integrate a custom IMS DB/DC mail system with Lotus Notes at Ashland Oil Company, to a fully automated EDI monitoring service for Brown-Forman Beverages that generated email notifications when EDI transactions completed or were incomplete after a period of time. I am a technology aficionado and invest in continuous learning, ranging from books and software to classroom training. I believe my greatest strength is my ability to solve complex technical problems, and leverage different products and tools to deliver solid, working applications and systems.
