I have a PhD in Psychology & Cognitive Science, specialising in the study of human movement and perception. My current research has allowed me to branch out and develop expertise with clinical populations (children with neurodevelopmental problems, primarily autism and Developmental Coordination Disorder, or DCD). Future themes currently being developed with grant applications centre on using my dissertation paradigm to study motor learning in children with DCD and adults post-stroke. Both of these themes will also involve neuro-imaging (both structural and functional MRI).
