I am an American currently living in Malaysia with my husband and son. While living in the States I worked as a freelance writer for a few local newspapers in the South Jersey area. Recently I returned to my “writing” roots hoping to earn a little extra cash as well as make productive use of the many “free” hours available to me each day (a polite way of saying I was bored). I like to sew and crochet, especially things the home, for business and pleasure purposes. My favorite items to make are vintage doilies. I had seen a few patterns on the Internet about a year ago and from there I was hooked. I love to cook and explore new dishes from around the world. My next-door neighbor and best friend in Malaysia owns and operates an outdoor restaurant featuring an array of home-style Malay dishes. Is that good luck or what? The remainder of my free time I usually fill with reading. I just finished the tenth book in the Wheel of Time series Crossroads of Twilight written by Robert Jordan. I’ll be heading out for the eleventh book Knife of Dreams soon.
