I have been working in the computer industry as a project team lead for over 12 years. My current responsibilities include managing two individual labs with six to eight contractors reporting to me at any time. The ability to plan and execute project related activities, as well as being flexible and adaptive to new situations are integral parts of my current position as a test manager within the business PC division of Hewlett-Packard. My daily activities cycle between creating, reviewing, and updating test plans for a project, supervision of project test team members, and communications of project related issues and results with internal and external customers. I have simultaneously executed numerous complicated system qualifications, each of these involving multiple related software and hardware components. I have proven my ability to accomplish the mission and get the job done right with little or no management interaction. Because of this, I am well respected by my peers, program managers and project engineers. In addition to my experience in computer engineering and test management, I have completed my Associates of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design at North Harris College. I have completed several design projects, web sites and traditional artwork over the last several years and I recently completed an 80 foot by 30 foot mural on a building in the historic district of Richmond Texas. My portfolio demonstrates my skills in graphic design, illustration and traditional artwork.
