Kung Fu + Punk Rock + Read For Fun = Me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think language may have become my strongest asset. Next to my chiseled bottom. What do I mean by that? I like verbiage. And verbosity. And using different words to mean the same thing. And nuances in words to utilize connotation. And breaking grammatical rules where stylistically appropriate. Like now. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also play guitar and sing. Despite the fact that I've always liked to sing, I'm actually better at playing the guitar. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I currently substitute teach. It pays enough to cover what I need covered, while allowing me to explore my dreams -- and lets me just plain relax. Since doing this my idea of teaching English abroad (which wasn't my idea, but whatever) has slowly seeped into what is apparently my essential being. Now I have to go, eventually. Specifically, I'll go when I can afford to. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A good friend of mine recently bought me a book, and it was right in the knick of time. It's called Avalanche, and details the life of a person driven by success to the point of missing out on everything that is important to his soul. Based on a recent desire, I may have followed the same path, and been very happy doing it, only to have nothing to show. I generally don't like fiction, because it doesn't necessarily impart knowledge. This book didn't feel like fiction. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another good friend of mine is very into stand-up comedy, as am I, but he differs as he's into actually standing up and delivering the comedy. It's actually inspired me to give it a shot, and I feel good about mutual coaching in almost any regard. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like to split my work up so that every day I finish a little bit. Every day I work out, play guitar, write a review of SOMETHING for this website I'm working on with a friend, and research one thing that will make my life better (i.e. how to buy a good running shoe, or how to find a good TEFL school) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I could see myself going to grad school. I don't know for what. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sometimes I like to hold my penis to the other side and stand in front of a mirror to see what I look like to other people.
